The BIAN Service Domain definitions combines formal ‘canonical’ descriptions and a growing collection of informal example-of-use design artifacts. The canonical specification is the Service Domain, its associated control record and the collection of representative semantic service operation descriptions. Example-of-use elements include business scenarios, wireframes/plumbing diagrams, service domain feature tables and service exchange descriptions.
